Дивизион 1: Апертура

Division 1: Clausura is highest football league in Paraguay built by 12 clubs. Each season is split in two championships named Apertura and Clausura. In each of these championships clubs play 2 matches, one as host and one as guest against every other club from Division 1: Clausura for a total of 22 matches per tournament. As many of South American championships at the end of the season two teams with lowest average position from last 3 season are relegated to lower division named Division Intermedia and their spot are taken by clubs on top 2 places from Division Intermedia.
