TFF 1.Lig is second-highest football division in Turkey, built by 18 clubs. Each team plays two matches one “home” and one “away”, against every other club in the division. For one season each club plays 34 matches for total. Clubs are ranked in table according to points won, head-to-head results, goal difference and goals scored. At the end of the season top two teams are directly promoted to highest Super Lig. Last spot for Super Lig is determine by play-off round between clubs finished in 3rd to 6th place. Last three clubs are demoted to lower TFF 2.Lig and their spots are taken by top 3 teams in TFF 2.Lig.
