The Czech Football Federation was formed in 1901 and during the past have many transformations, because if the merging and splitting with Slovakia. Until 1993 year Czech Republic was part of Czechoslovakia and the football federation and national teams have same history. Now Czech Republic have their own national team which first match played was in 1994 year. In FIFA World Cup the national team dosn`t reach further than group stage, but in UEFA European Championship the national team have one 2nd place during 1996 year and a 3rd place in 2004 year. The country is in 19th place in FIFA all-time table.

Top two divisions in Czech Football League system are named:

• Czech First League – highest division
• Czech Second Division

The Czech football federation each season starts football tournament event named Czech Cup.
