第二联赛

Segunda Liga is the second football division in Portugal, formed by eighteen clubs. Each team plays 34 matches for the season, two matches against every other team from Segunda Liga one as host and one as guest. Teams are ranked in table according points they won, goal difference and goals scored. At the end of the season, clubs placed on 1st and 2nd place in table are directly promoted to higher football division – Premeira Liga. Last three clubs are relegated to lower football division.
