Saudi Professional League is highest football league in Saudi Arabia and was founded in 1976 year. It`s formed by 16 clubs. Every club plays 30 matches per season. One as host and one as guest, against every other club from league. Clubs are ranked in table according to points they won. At the end of the season top four clubs in table are playing in promotion round to determine wich one is the champion of the Saudi Arabia. Last three clubs are playing in relegation round, with three clubs from lower division to determine which 3 will be demoted to lower Saudi First League.
