C系列

The third-highest football league in Brazil have a bit different rules from Serie A and Serie B. Serie C is also built by 20 clubs, but split in two groups. Teams plays against every other member from his group in “home” and “away” matches. At the end of the season top four clubs from each group are playing in play-offs to determine which 4 clubs of them will be promoted to higher Serie B. Last two clubs from each group are relegated to lower football league Serie D.
