Premier Liga

This is top football division in Bosnia and Herzegovina, contains 12 clubs. This division is created in 1992 when Bosnia and Herzegovina proclaimed their independence. Every club in plays 3 times against each other according to schedule made for the season, for a total of 33 matches per club. Teams are ranked in table according to points won and after the end of the all 33 matches, clubs are entering in additional champion group and relegation group. First group (champion group) is made by first 6 teams in end-season table and they are playing 10 matches to determine which is the champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The second group (relegation group) is built by last 6 teams playing 10 more matches to determine the 2 teams which will be relegated to lower division.
